Tips to Turn Off Windows Defender, Windows Help and Tips

Windows Defender is the new feature from Vista. This feature is to prevent computer from internet spy ware attack. However, if you use another application with same function, you can disable the Windows defender.

Here are some tips you can use to disable The Windows defender:

1. Open Windows Defender.
2. Choose Tools
3. Choose Option
4. Pull down the scroll bar from list.
5. Below the Administration Option, unmark “Use windows Defender”
6. Click Save
7. When UAC prompt is shown, click Continue

Then a window will be shown to warn that Windows defender will be disabled. Click Close.

If you want to activate Windows Defender, you can follow that steps and click OK on the Windows Defender.
